Magnesium Chloride (MgCI2) is a pharmaceutical preparation of Magnesium. Magnesium Ion is one of the most common elements found on earth and it is readily available in soil and water.          Modern day farming activities have robbed the soil of minerals that are essential for your well being, and therefore it is unlikely that you will receive the recommended daily requirement for Magnesium (about 420 mg for men and about 310 mg for women) through your diet alone.
